Senior Architecture Engineer – Railway Projects

About the role

SYSTRA is seeking a Senior Architecture Engineer to support its railway projects across the Alamein to Marsa Matrouh corridor. The role involves overseeing architectural documentation, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and supervising finishing works to deliver safe and sustainable transport infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve shop drawings for architectural elements.
• Audit technical office documents and ensure they meet project specifications.
• Prepare and evaluate all architectural technical submittals, including pre‑qualification, material submittals, and method statements.
• Supervise finishing and arrangement activities on site, guaranteeing quality and adherence to design intent.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience on railway or large‑scale transport projects.
• Strong management and coordination capabilities.
• Proven decision‑making, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in challenging conditions.
• Willingness to travel and work at multiple locations as required.
