Senior Audit & Assurance Professional

About the role

We are seeking a Senior professional to join our Audit & Assurance team in Egypt. The role involves leading audit engagements, building trust with stakeholders, and delivering high‑quality assurance services that meet regulatory and risk‑management standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their service expectations and delivering tailored audit solutions.
• Plan and execute audit procedures, adapting templates and referral instructions to define the scope and focus of each engagement.
• Coordinate with on‑shore and off‑shore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate and complete information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors, linking risks, controls, procedures and findings across the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and ensure they are met throughout the engagement.
• Challenge audit timing and propose efficiencies while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in audit and assurance, preferably within a large professional services firm.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret key statistics and industry data before engagements.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders and global teams.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deliver high‑quality work under tight deadlines.
