Senior Cost Accountant – Manufacturing

About the role

Koning Food Industries is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join its manufacturing team in 10th of Ramadan City. You will be responsible for calculating, analysing and reporting production costs, ensuring accurate cost data for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and analyse actual production costs versus standard costs.
• Analyse direct and indirect cost elements and their impact on product pricing.
• Monitor raw material, labour and overhead costs and prepare cost variance reports.
• Analyse variances in raw material consumption, production efficiency and waste.
• Maintain finished‑goods costing and produce daily and monthly cost reports.
• Support profitability reporting by product, customer or sales channel.
• Provide costing data during the monthly closing process.
• Coordinate with the Costing Manager and other departments to investigate and resolve cost variances.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of progressive experience in Cost Accounting or a related finance role within the FMCG industry.
• Deep knowledge of cost accounting principles and standard/actual costing methodologies.
