Senior Full Stack Developer (Java & React.js)

About the role

VOIS is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to design and deliver high‑quality, scalable applications using Java and React.js. The role is ideal for engineers who enjoy owning features from concept to production, writing clean, testable code, and collaborating in agile, cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver full‑stack applications with Java and React.js.
• Own medium‑to‑large features through technical design, implementation, testing and deployment.
• Review peer code to ensure quality, consistency and maintainability.
• Write and execute unit tests, applying appropriate mocking techniques.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects reported by customers or testing teams.
• Produce clear technical documentation for components and features.
• Create reusable components, templates and automation to boost team productivity.
• Contribute to open‑source components where relevant.
• Participate in recruitment activities as a technical interviewer.
• Work within platform constraints and influence system design decisions.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, Saga middleware, service workers).
• Solid foundation in Java or a strong motivation to deepen Java expertise.
• Deep understanding of object‑oriented and functional programming principles.
• Experience with unit testing, mocking frameworks and code‑quality practices.
• Comfortable working with RESTful APIs, JSON and third‑party libraries.
• Working knowledge of system design fundamentals and performance optimisation.
