Senior Golang Developer (Short Term)

About the role

Intetics, a global technology company offering custom software development, distributed teams, quality assessment and digital solutions, is looking for a Senior Golang Developer for a short-term engagement. The role focuses on complex, high-load backend systems, with a focus on ownership of backend development and building robust, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimize and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications in Golang.
• Design and implement microservices-based architectures and cloud-native solutions.
• Ensure code quality, scalability and maintainability through best development practices.
• Take part in code reviews, design discussions and architecture decisions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-impact solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems for performance, security and reliability.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on Golang.
• Solid understanding of concurrent programming, distributed systems and microservices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Golang and RESTful APIs and gRPC.
• SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB.
• Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and DevOps practices.
• Nice to have: Kafka, RabbitMQ or NATS; GraphQL, WebSockets and streaming; AI/ML, IoT or blockchain projects; Agile/Scrum experience.
