Senior IT Network & Cybersecurity Administrator

About the role

SSS is seeking a Senior IT Network & Cybersecurity Administrator to lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of its enterprise network and security operations across on‑premises and cloud environments. The role will ensure that the infrastructure remains secure, reliable and scalable while providing technical mentorship to junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage enterprise LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching and network segmentation, including firewall policies.
• Administer and optimise Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud platforms – virtual machines, networking, identity management, IAM, security controls and access policies.
• Manage Microsoft Intune for endpoint compliance, application deployment and security configuration.
• Lead cybersecurity operations: firewalls, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, vulnerability assessments, incident response and risk management.
• Maintain Microsoft Exchange (online and on‑premises), email security, mail flow, archiving and anti‑phishing measures.
• Support IP telephony systems, SIP configurations and QoS policies.
• Produce and keep up‑to‑date IT security documentation, network diagrams, policies and compliance artefacts.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior IT staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration and cybersecurity roles.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure, AWS, Intune, Exchange and enterprise firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001 and CIS Controls.
