Senior IVVQ Engineer – Naval Integrated Communication Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Confirmed/Senior Systems Integration and IVVQ Engineer to lead the on‑site deployment, testing and lifecycle maintenance of advanced Naval Integrated Communication Systems on Egyptian military vessels. The role covers the full project lifecycle from shipyard receipt to Sea Acceptance Tests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform equipment installation, software configuration and customisation following official manuals.
• Execute complex RF and data cabling, wiring and rework, ensuring compliance and issuing certificates of installation availability.
• Update network switches and headless IT infrastructure without manuals, and manage server updates.
• Author, review and execute formal test procedures, conduct dry‑run and non‑regression tests, and lead Harbour and Sea Acceptance Tests.
• Identify, qualify and document Fault/Problem Reports, troubleshoot Windows, Linux and Virtual Machine environments using tools such as Wireshark.
• Maintain configuration management through weekly progress and test reports.
• Support logistics inspections, verify deliveries and supervise junior technicians.

Required profile

• Confirmed to Senior Technician/Engineer level with experience in naval electronics and military environments.
• Strong background in RF/cabling, network infrastructure and system troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with subsystems such as HF/VHF radios, MHS/HF‑Email, CCMS, VoIP, IP networks and crypto modules.
