Senior Odoo Developer

About the role

Lavida, a leading food manufacturing company in Egypt, is looking for a Senior Odoo Developer to join its on‑site team. You will design, develop, and maintain Odoo ERP solutions that support the company’s production, quality, and business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop custom Odoo modules based on detailed business requirements.
• Customize and enhance existing Odoo modules and features.
• Design, develop, and maintain API integrations with third‑party systems.
• Optimize system performance and improve application efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues.
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases for reliability and high performance.
• Implement security best practices and improve system protection.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards.
• Manage version upgrades and support Odoo migration projects.
• Maintain source code using Git version control and prepare technical documentation.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Odoo development or ERP software development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with the Odoo framework and custom module development.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
