Senior Plumbing and Fire Fighting Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a senior mechanical engineer specialised in plumbing and fire‑fighting systems to lead design and supervision activities across MENA construction projects. The role combines technical expertise with mentorship, ensuring high‑quality deliverables while advancing the company’s engineering knowledge base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed design drawings, calculations and technical reports for plumbing and fire‑fighting installations.
• Develop contractual documents and ensure compliance with national and international codes.
• Apply digital tools and innovative ideas to improve design efficiency and process quality.
• Lead and delegate tasks to junior engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within budget.
• Produce hydraulic, pipe‑sizing, pump‑sizing, cooling‑load and static‑pressure calculations.
• Create general arrangement, isometric, P&ID and process flow diagrams.
• Present project work at internal meetings or external conferences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8‑10 years of experience in design and supervision of plumbing and fire‑fighting systems.
• Proven experience on projects in the MENA region.
• Ability to work independently, make engineering judgments and lead a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to deliver presentations.
