Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer to lead end‑to‑end purchasing of medical equipment, healthcare supplies and related services for our operations in Egypt and the United Kingdom. The role will ensure timely, cost‑effective acquisition while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle for medical equipment, consumables and operational services across Egypt and the UK.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with local and international suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and quality.
• Prepare purchase orders, supplier agreements and all related documentation.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitor performance and service levels.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, logistics and clinical teams to align procurement with business needs.
• Monitor inventory levels to guarantee uninterrupted operations.
• Conduct market analysis to identify cost‑saving opportunities and alternative sources.
• Support budgeting and cost‑control by tracking expenses and reporting savings.
• Resolve procurement issues such as delayed deliveries, quality concerns and invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, Healthcare Management or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply‑chain operations.
• Previous experience in healthcare, medical equipment, pharmaceutical or hospital procurement preferred.
• Experience managing procurement across multiple regions, especially Egypt and the UK.
• Familiarity with local and international suppliers, freight forwarders and customs processes.
