Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

Egypt Education Platform is hiring a Senior Procurement Specialist for its Corporate Office, based on site in New Cairo City. The role manages end-to-end procurement activities so that goods and services are acquired in a timely and cost-effective way.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable commercial terms.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor their performance.
• Obtain and analyse quotations to ensure quality, cost efficiency and compliance with procurement requirements.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with approved budgets and company policies.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor procurement expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts and supplier documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• 4-6 years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in a structured corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies and supplier management.
• Proven negotiation, cost analysis and vendor evaluation skills.
• Experience with purchase orders, contracts and procurement documentation.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems.
