Senior Project Manager (Fit-out)

About the role

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Senior Project Manager (Fit-out) in Cairo. The role leads fit-out projects for commercial real estate, setting success criteria, managing quality, safety, health and environment, and acting as the main point of contact for the client and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Define project success criteria (time, cost, technical and performance parameters) and plan the detailed project plan
• Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment issues, and establish project governance, processes and systems
• Lead the cross-functional team, manage suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews, and forecast milestones
• Manage change control, project finances, cost control, value engineering and constructability guidance
• Interface with the client, architects, engineers and supply chain, and provide technical support to owners, architects and general contractors
• Produce formal project status reports and progress reports, and review status reports, drawings, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers
• Manage local design teams, capture project learnings and case studies, and identify business development and cross-selling opportunities
• Work in D365, keep the CDA up to date weekly and aim for a BU health score of 90%

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Project Management or equivalent
• 10-15 years' experience, preferably as a registered Professional Project Manager
• Tenant improvement and fit-out experience on commercial real estate projects is desirable
• Willingness to work onsite as needed
• Ability to advise at a strategic level and manage demanding stakeholders
