Senior QA Engineer

About the role

The Senior QA Engineer will ensure product quality for web, mobile and backend services of the otrovato B2B platform. You will design test strategies, build automation frameworks and work closely with development and product teams to deliver reliable software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile and backend services.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright or similar tools.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance and API testing.
• Identify, document and track defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Participate in requirements reviews and design discussions to provide early QA input.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and debug issues.
• Implement continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Maintain test documentation, ensure coverage and promote quality best practices.
• Mentor junior QA engineers as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of hands‑on QA experience, both manual and automated.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, Agile/Scrum environments and defect‑tracking tools.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
