Senior R&D Software Engineer – AI & Cloud (Cairo)

About the role

Infomineo is looking for a senior research & development software engineer to lead AI‑driven initiatives in its Cairo office. The role combines DevOps, cloud architecture, and data engineering to build scalable, automated solutions for a range of business‑insight services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI‑powered applications with a focus on automation and efficiency.
• Apply DevOps best practices to streamline CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable releases.
• Architect scalable cloud environments on AWS, Azure or GCP and integrate AI services securely.
• Build and maintain API integrations and data pipelines to support large‑scale model training.
• Manage AI projects using agile methodologies, define requirements, track progress and report to stakeholders.
• Continuously research emerging AI and automation technologies and propose improvements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of proven experience in DevOps, cloud computing, AI projects and API integration.
• Strong background in data engineering and handling large datasets.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
