Senior Regional HR & Payroll Specialist

About the role

The Senior Regional HR & Payroll Specialist provides end‑to‑end operational HR support across the employee lifecycle for a defined region. The role ensures accurate payroll processing, high data quality in HR systems, and responsive service to employees and managers.

Key responsibilities

• Process and coordinate hiring, onboarding, employee changes, and separations, meeting agreed turnaround times and quality standards.
• Prepare payroll accurately and on schedule, maintain employee records in myHR, and perform routine data checks to prevent errors.
• Maintain HR documentation, templates, and checklists with proper version control.
• Administer time‑and‑attendance and leave, acting as the primary contact for HR operations queries.
• Provide clear guidance on HR policies, set expectations, communicate status updates, and close requests with appropriate documentation.
• Escalate complex or non‑standard cases to HR Business Partners.
• Coordinate with vendors and third‑party providers such as Ceridian.
• Prepare operational reports, support internal audits, and ensure confidentiality of employee information.
• Identify process bottlenecks, recommend improvements, and participate in HR projects like system rollouts and policy updates.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in HR operations and payroll within a regional or shared‑services environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR lifecycle processes, data governance, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and ability to handle confidential information ethically.
• Proven ability to analyze processes, identify improvements, and support project implementation.
