Senior Sales Engineer - Water Treatment Chemicals

About the role

Veolia Water Technologies is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer for its water treatment chemicals business in New Cairo. The role is responsible for delivering the WTC sales budget (bookings, revenue and margin) and managing the full sales cycle with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve the WTC sales budget (bookings, revenues and margin).
• Review and negotiate client contract terms and conditions until they are ready for signature, and oversee order or contract execution until handover to the client.
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial offers and order intakes, follow up delivery of chemicals and/or equipment on time, and follow up invoicing and collection.
• Prepare monthly sales reports.
• Review chemicals and equipment stock, prepare purchase requisitions and follow up purchase orders so that warehouse stock stays at least at the minimum level.
• Follow up deliveries with the purchasing department and maintain the on-hand account and targets for business expansion and new products.
• Support the implementation of the QHSE management system (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018) and comply with occupational health and safety regulations under Egyptian law.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• At least 5 years of experience in the same field.
• Successful experience selling specialty chemicals (boiler, cooling, wastewater, RO, etc.) and a proven record of meeting sales budgets and business objectives.
• Fluent English, strong communication and presentation skills, good business sense, initiative and enthusiasm.
