Senior Site Architect

About the role

The Senior Site Architect will oversee architectural execution on active construction sites, ensuring designs are implemented accurately and in line with project specifications, building codes, and client requirements. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Cairo, Egypt, and involves close coordination with engineers, contractors, and project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site architectural work to guarantee compliance with design intent and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including structural, MEP, and civil engineers.
• Review and approve shop drawings, manage design changes, and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor construction progress against plans.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of design decisions, quality standards, and safety compliance.
• Mentor junior architects and support project planning and scheduling activities.
• Participate in design reviews to enhance constructability and project efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong professional background in architecture and architectural design with proven delivery of complex projects from design through construction.
• Demonstrated project‑management capability, including coordination of multidisciplinary teams and timeline management.
• Experience integrating architectural solutions with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines on large‑scale projects.
• Familiarity with BIM, CAD and integrated project delivery workflows.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (professional registration or licensure is a plus).
• Solid understanding of Egyptian and Middle‑East building regulations, codes, and construction practices.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities with a collaborative on‑site approach.
• Fluency in English; Arabic preferred for reporting and documentation.
