Senior Software Test Engineer

About the role

Axis is looking for a passionate Senior Software Test Engineer to ensure the quality of its fintech products. You will lead both manual and automated testing efforts, identify defects, and collaborate closely with development and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI tests using Selenium and Java.
• Create and execute BDD test scenarios with Cucumber.
• Automate API tests with REST‑Assured and mobile tests with Appium.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines and manage test execution via TestNG.
• Perform comprehensive manual testing across browsers and mobile devices.
• Review tickets, clarify requirements, and ensure testability.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and lead knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Continuously improve test coverage, frameworks, and QA processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software testing experience.
• Strong background in UI automation with Selenium.
• Proficiency in Java for test automation.
• Hands‑on experience with TestNG, Cucumber, REST‑Assured, and Appium.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Postman.
• Knowledge of No‑SQL databases (SQL optional).
• Experience in fintech or digital payments is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
