Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead recruitment across EDECS’s GCC operations. The role partners with business leaders to design and execute talent strategies that support our growth in the construction and infrastructure sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with current and future staffing needs across GCC locations.
• Manage full‑cycle recruitment for technical, functional and leadership positions, ensuring a consistent candidate experience.
• Utilize multiple sourcing channels such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GulfTalent, job fairs and university partnerships to attract diverse talent.
• Support employer branding initiatives to position EDECS as an employer of choice in engineering and construction.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, selection criteria and interview frameworks, and provide recruitment best‑practice training.
• Maintain accurate records in the ATS and ensure compliance with EDECS policies and GCC labour laws.
• Track recruitment KPIs (time‑to‑hire, offer acceptance, sourcing effectiveness) and deliver regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; HR certifications (CIPD, SHRM, PHR) preferred.
• 5–7 years of recruitment/talent acquisition experience, including at least 3 years in a senior capacity.
• Proven experience recruiting in the GCC region, preferably within engineering, construction or project‑based industries.
• Strong understanding of GCC labour regulations and ability to work with cross‑functional leadership.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ATS platforms.
• Expertise in sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and GulfTalent.
• Ability to analyse recruitment data and generate analytics.
• Knowledge of GCC labour regulations.
