Senior Testing & Commissioning Light Current Engineer

About the role

Electronic Vision is seeking a Senior Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Light Current Engineer to lead the delivery of low‑current systems for smart‑city projects in Cairo. You will be responsible for ensuring that CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, data networks and other ELV installations meet design specifications, safety standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of all low‑current (ELV) systems on site.
• Review design documents, shop drawings and prepare method statements and test procedures.
• Supervise on‑site activities, coordinate with contractors, vendors and project managers.
• Perform system integrations, document test results and produce as‑built documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and support project planning and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards and local codes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communications or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Several years of senior‑level experience in ELV/light‑current testing and commissioning on large‑scale building, transportation or smart‑city projects.
• Strong knowledge of relevant standards (NFPA, IEC, local regulations) and quality‑assurance practices.
• Excellent English communication and documentation skills.
