Senior Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Senior Warehouse Supervisor leads daily warehouse activities, ensuring that goods are stored, handled, and distributed efficiently and safely. This role focuses on optimizing processes, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting a high‑performing team to meet customer delivery expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
• Develop and optimize warehouse processes to boost productivity.
• Manage scheduling and allocation of labor and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations and workflow.
• Supervise and train staff on operational procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels to maintain accurate stock.
• Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.
• Implement and enforce safety standards; conduct regular facility inspections.
• Address and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Analyze performance metrics and prepare management reports.
• Assist in developing and delivering training programs.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
• Apply best practices for inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Monitor and control warehouse costs, including labor and materials.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse facility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in warehouse operations or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehousing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.
• Ability to analyze data and generate performance reports.
• Experience with lean warehousing principles and process improvement methodologies.
