Site Engineer – Architecture

About the role

Sabbour Consulting is seeking an experienced Site Engineer specialized in architecture to oversee the execution of architectural works on construction sites. The role involves ensuring that all design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations are strictly followed while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor architectural works on site, including finishes, partitions, ceilings, doors, windows, and external works.
• Verify that all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Review and approve contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil engineers to resolve site‑related issues and prevent conflicts.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and document site observations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards on site.
• Assist in resolving technical and design issues during construction.
• Participate in site meetings with contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
• Review and verify as‑built drawings and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising architectural works on medium to large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of architectural materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
• Excellent site management, communication, and coordination abilities.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
