Site Engineer – Construction & Interior Finishing

About the role

Places Plus is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to supervise daily site operations for interior finishing and architectural projects in New Cairo. You will ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery while coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site work according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, laborers, and vendors, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental protocols.
• Conduct site inspections and produce daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to guide execution teams.
• Resolve technical or site‑related issues in collaboration with design teams and project managers.
• Monitor material deliveries, storage, and usage on site.
• Assist in preparing project schedules and resource plans.
• Follow up on snag lists, handovers, and project closure activities.
• Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation of site activities, approvals, and inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–7 years of proven site supervision experience, preferably in interior finishing, fit‑out, or architectural projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and finishing details.
• Familiarity with Egyptian building codes and safety regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in reading technical drawings.
• AutoCAD.
• MS Project or Primavera (preferred).
