Social Media Account Director

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media Account Director to lead a portfolio of key social media accounts in Egypt. You will shape strategy, drive content direction, and ensure client satisfaction while mentoring a team of pod leads and account executives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with client business objectives.
• Oversee content calendars, campaign planning, and creative ideation with content and design teams.
• Analyze performance metrics and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Train, mentor, and grow Account Executives, establishing clear development paths.
• Supervise response management to maintain brand tone and audience engagement across all platforms.
• Serve as primary contact for key clients, providing strategic consultation and performance reviews.
• Identify upsell opportunities and introduce innovative approaches to improve results.
• Coordinate between content, creative, and client servicing teams for unified campaign delivery.
• Review monthly and quarterly reports, propose optimization strategies to boost engagement, reach, and conversion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in social media management, including at least 2 years in a leadership or client‑facing role.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale social media accounts and teams.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and client communication abilities.
