Software Backend Development Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Software Backend Development Engineer to design, build and maintain high‑performance backend services. The role focuses on Java‑based applications, cloud deployment on AWS and automation of infrastructure and delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS and Lambda.
• Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Define infrastructure as code with Terraform and integrate it into deployment pipelines.
• Implement logging, monitoring and alerting using DataDog and PagerDuty.
• Design and manage relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing Java applications with Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with Linux environments (RedHat, CentOS).
• Ability to work with infrastructure‑as‑code and CI/CD tools.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and take on varied assignments.
