Specification Engineer

About the role

Jotun is looking for a proactive Specification Engineer to ensure its paint products are included in project specifications across Egypt. Based at the New Cairo head office, you will work field‑based, building strong relationships with architects, consultants, developers and project owners while delivering technical presentations and seminars.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular meetings with architects, consultants, developers and project owners to present Jotun products and technical documentation.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with specifiers through visits, presentations, seminars and training sessions.
• Develop a professional network to support specification approvals and influence project decision‑makers.
• Identify and track key projects, ensuring specifications include Jotun products to secure business opportunities.
• Support the sales team by providing product approvals, project updates and technical/commercial information.
• Monitor the construction and paint market, keep the CRM database up‑to‑date and deliver tailored solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in specifications, technical sales or project sales within the building and construction industry.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong networking, influencing and communication abilities.
• Self‑aware, eager to learn and develop professionally.
