Staff Software Engineer – iOS

About the role

Procore is seeking a Staff Software Engineer specializing in iOS to join its Mobile Software Development team in Cairo. You will work closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers to create SaaS solutions that empower communities, hospitals, and schools worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage AI‑driven tools and generative workflows to enhance construction‑tech solutions.
• Enable rapid delivery of complex projects while maintaining a high quality bar.
• Serve as the go‑to technical expert for iOS architecture and design decisions.
• Define and enforce technical standards, providing guidance and decision‑making support.
• Lead architectural design with a customer‑centric mindset.
• Mentor teammates through code reviews, pair programming, and training.
• Identify and drive resolution of large‑scale technical challenges affecting scalability and performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years building iOS apps with Swift and Objective‑C.
• Proven ability to ship complex, high‑quality software products.
• Strong communication skills and experience leading large initiatives.
• Track record of evaluating and evolving technical approaches to stay industry‑leading.
