About the role

PepsiCo is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Associate Analyst to develop and execute supply plans that ensure the right products are available at the right time and in the right quantities while maintaining optimal inventory levels. The role involves close collaboration with procurement, production, logistics, sales and demand planning teams to address supply constraints and support business continuity.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts, inventory positions and business requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify potential shortages or excess stock, and flag supply risks.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (procurement, production, logistics, sales, demand planning) to align supply with demand.
  • Adjust supply plans in response to changes in demand, capacity, lead times or material availability.
  • Manage material and product availability to meet customer and operational needs.
  • Identify supply constraints and create mitigation plans to minimise disruptions.
  • Track key supply‑planning KPIs such as inventory levels, service level, stock availability and forecast‑to‑plan adherence.
  • Support the S&OP/IBP process by providing capacity analysis and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP systems.
  • Continuously improve planning processes, inventory efficiency and overall supply‑chain performance.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 1‑3 years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory management or supply‑chain operations.
  • Strong understanding of supply‑chain planning principles, forecasting and replenishment.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, JDA or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Power Query.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to interpret large data sets.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
