Structural Design Engineer

About the role

Omrania by EGIS is seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join its multidisciplinary engineering team in Cairo. The role involves delivering design excellence for large‑scale building and infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia and the wider region.

Key responsibilities

• Design structural systems for complex projects from concept through construction.
• Prepare, review and validate calculations, design reports and construction drawings in line with international codes and local standards.
• Perform structural analysis for reinforced concrete and steel structures, ensuring safety, durability and cost‑effectiveness.
• Coordinate with architecture, MEP, civil and landscape teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets and quality benchmarks.
• Prepare and present technical reports, proposals and value‑engineering recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies and regulatory changes.
• Support quality assurance and safety compliance throughout all project phases.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development activities as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
