Structural Design Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Structural Design Manager to lead the structural engineering function for large‑scale residential projects. The role involves overseeing design quality, ensuring compliance with codes, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver villas, apartments and related infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate all structural designs, drawings, and technical documentation for compliance with applicable codes, standards and company policies.
• Evaluate structural design criteria and conceptual designs to ensure optimal quality, efficiency and engineering excellence.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the Structural Department’s overall work plan and project objectives.
• Monitor and maintain records of the department’s progress while coordinating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) submitted by contractors in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and verify compliance with approved structural designs and specifications.
• Review and approve timesheets and expense reports for Civil/Structural Department personnel.
• Participate in coordination meetings with directors, the Head of Department and other key stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in structural engineering within the real estate or construction industry.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale residential developments, including villas, apartment buildings and associated infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, relevant design codes and industry best practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
