Summer Host – Casual Position

About the role

The Smokery Beach is seeking a friendly and professional Host for the summer season. This casual position is focused on creating a warm first impression and ensuring smooth guest flow in a fast‑paced beach restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests courteously.
• Manage reservations, waiting lists, and table assignments.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide restaurant information.
• Coordinate with service and operations teams to optimise table turnover.
• Handle guest inquiries and requests professionally.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and guest preferences.
• Support the team during peak periods and special events.
• Uphold The Smokery’s standards, policies, and service procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a host, receptionist, or guest‑relations role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle shift work, weekends, and public holidays.
• Willingness to relocate to the North Coast for the summer season.
• Comfortable working where alcohol is served and passionate about hospitality.
