Supply Planning Lead

About the role

Unilever is seeking a Supply Planning Lead to drive high service levels across multiple markets while maintaining optimal stock levels. The role combines analytical rigor with team leadership, ensuring agile responses to market dynamics and embedding digital ways of working within the supply planning function.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead stock models using supply planning fundamentals and creative solutions to achieve high service levels.
• Evaluate monthly demand dynamics to inform tactical decisions and drive actions.
• Create agile supply planning models that increase responsiveness to market changes.
• Lead, empower, and coach the supply planning team to unlock their potential.
• Apply World Class Manufacturing (WCM) tools to address key losses and drive continuous improvement.
• Implement digital agenda in supply planning and embed digital processes within the team.
• Develop factory strategy plans to ensure cost‑efficient operations and meet DBNR performance through Master Production Scheduling (MPS).
• Lock and sign off monthly shipment plans, manage gaps between unconstrained and constrained figures, and identify risk mitigation options.
• Develop and maintain an Inventory Planning Management (IPM) model with high‑quality inputs and outputs.
• Manage monthly stock closing, ensuring appropriate stock cover and optimal days‑on‑hand (DOH) values.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply planning or inventory management within a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of coaching and developing teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret demand dynamics and stock data.
• Familiarity with WCM approaches, MPS, and IPM methodologies.
• Comfort with digital tools and a commitment to driving digital transformation.
