Technical Lead - Data Mesh

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of our Data Mesh Platform within Coca-Cola Hellenic Digital & Technology Platform Services. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to enable data‑driven insights and AI/ML capabilities across all our markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of platform engineers delivering solutions with Python, OOP and Spark.
• Design and implement Azure‑based data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage and Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborate with product managers to define platform capabilities and roadmap.
• Own the platform lifecycle, including upgrades, reliability, security and continuous improvement.
• Drive solution design, testing, deployment and operational excellence in Azure environments.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching and knowledge sharing across engineering and data science teams.
• Participate in Agile/SAFe processes, including sprint planning and cross‑team coordination.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong background in object‑oriented programming, design patterns and software architecture.
• Proven ability to solve complex algorithmic and data‑structure problems.
• Independent worker with strong collaboration skills.
