Technical Office Engineer

About the role

The Technical Office Engineer will support the Senior Technical Office Engineer in addressing technical challenges that arise during construction. This entry‑level position involves reviewing and coordinating shop drawings, preparing RFIs, and ensuring documentation aligns with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in solving unexpected technical difficulties and report them to the Senior Technical Office Engineer.
• Review subcontractors’ and outsourced shop drawings and coordinate their approval with the project consultant.
• Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) for any missing, unclear, or conflicting technical matters.
• Update the shop‑drawing log before submission to the consultant for approval.
• Review the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) against project specifications.
• Prepare subcontractors’ invoices for small‑size projects.
• Study contract documents such as schedules, design drawings, and BOQs.
• Participate in implementing technical office policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• 0–1 years of experience in construction projects.
• Strong command of English.
• Motivation to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment.
