Technical Team Leader – Fintech & .NET

About the role

The Technical Team Leader will guide a software development team delivering fintech solutions built on the .NET platform. This role blends technical oversight, process management, and mentorship to ensure high‑quality releases that meet product and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the software development team through project lifecycles, participate in technical and architectural discussions, and provide implementation‑oriented feedback.
• Oversee development and testing of features, enforce feature/branch freezes, and ensure alignment with business drivers and product guidelines.
• Review and approve code, scripts, and technical implementations, perform technical validation before QA hand‑off, and track KPIs such as code quality, test coverage and bug ratios.
• Coordinate with business analysts, project managers, UI/UX, QA and other service teams to keep user stories clear, communicate risks early, and provide release notes.
• Mentor developers, conduct performance appraisals, delegate tasks, resolve conflicts and maintain a high on‑time delivery rate.
• Guide the responsible use of AI‑assisted development tools, ensuring outputs are validated and compliant with internal standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a team of software developers in a fintech or similar high‑velocity environment.
• Strong ability to act as a technical reference, mentor and trainer for developers.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Track record of maintaining high code quality, test coverage and low bug ratios.
• Capability to estimate tasks accurately and achieve 85 %+ on‑time delivery.
