Tender and QS Engineer – Fit‑Out Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Tender and Quantity Surveying (QS) Engineer to lead the tendering and cost management of fit‑out construction projects. You will work closely with design and project teams to ensure accurate cost estimates, competitive bids, and profitable contract execution while maintaining high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit competitive tenders for fit‑out projects, ensuring full compliance with client specifications.
• Analyse project specifications, drawings, and related documents to determine costs and required resources.
• Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates and budgets throughout the tendering phase.
• Collaborate with design teams to identify value‑engineering opportunities that reduce costs without compromising quality.
• Review, negotiate and finalize subcontractor and supplier contracts to secure favourable terms.
• Monitor project costs and budgets during construction, providing regular financial reports to managers and stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing interim and final accounts, including variations and claims.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress, quantify work for billing and forecasting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Tender Engineer, preferably in the fit‑out sector.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, tendering methods and contract management.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
