Tender Engineer

About the role

INSANE INNOVATION is seeking a detail‑oriented Tender Engineer to join its Cairo office. The role involves managing the full tendering cycle for interior and exterior design and implementation projects, from document review to proposal submission.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Perform quantity take‑offs and prepare cost estimates.
• Obtain, compare and analyse quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement and project teams to gather technical and commercial data.
• Prepare and submit complete technical and commercial tender proposals before deadlines.
• Respond to client clarifications during the tendering stage.
• Maintain organized records of tenders, quotations and related documentation.
• Support post‑tender negotiations and contribute to continuous improvement of tendering processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Tender Engineer or Estimation Engineer, preferably in construction, interior fit‑out or finishing projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQs, quantity surveying and cost estimation.
• Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
