Tender Leader – Architectural Engineer

About the role

The Tender Leader – Architectural Engineer will drive the end‑to‑end tendering process for large‑scale building projects, ensuring accurate cost estimation and competitive bids. You will work closely with design, MEP, and planning teams to deliver technically sound and financially viable proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete tendering process for architectural and structural works.
• Review and analyse tender documents, including drawings, specifications, BOQs and contract conditions.
• Prepare precise quantity take‑offs for architectural items such as finishes, facades and partitions.
• Develop detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour, equipment and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with MEP and planning teams to ensure full scope integration.
• Obtain, evaluate and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare RFIs and follow up with clients/consultants for clarifications.
• Support the preparation of technical proposals to meet tender requirements.
• Analyse project costs, risks and profit margins to advise on bid/no‑bid decisions.
• Track tender outcomes and analyse win/loss results to improve future competitiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering.
• 8–15 years of experience in tendering and cost estimation within construction companies.
• Proven experience pricing large‑scale residential, commercial or administrative projects.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications and construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC).
• Leadership ability to manage and review a tender team’s work.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
