Total Rewards Director

About the role

Abou Ghaly Motors is seeking a Total Rewards Director to shape and execute comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies that support the company’s growth objectives. The role will drive employee engagement, retention, and alignment with legal and policy frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage total rewards programs, including salary structures, benefits, incentives and other employee initiatives.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive offerings.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives that reinforce company culture and values.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for total rewards and HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
• Partner with department heads to analyse workforce trends and align HR programs with business needs.
• Prepare and present insights, recommendations and strategy updates to senior management.
• Manage and develop the Total Rewards team, providing guidance, training and performance support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (CIPD, SHRM) preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in total rewards and HR, with deep knowledge of compensation and benefits strategy.
• Proven leadership experience focused on HR operations and employee engagement.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to develop metrics and KPIs to measure program success.
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective project‑management capabilities and a collaborative, innovative mindset.
