Travel Consultant – Design Packages & Customer Service

About the role

The Travel Consultant will create attractive travel packages, manage bookings and provide high‑level customer service for outbound travel. You will act as the main point of contact for clients, suppliers and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of both individual and group itineraries.

Key responsibilities

• Design travel packages and detailed itineraries for FIT and group customers.
• Process bookings through various reservation systems and handle direct contracting.
• Sell ready‑made group packages, optional sightseeing tours and transfer services.
• Follow up with clients by phone to update them on existing bookings.
• Prepare travel proposals, contracts and manage group holiday operations.
• Deliver customer service, answer enquiries, resolve complaints and maintain a professional appearance.
• Contact hotels, airlines, local operators and other suppliers to confirm and follow up on services.
• Manage outgoing calls to agents and suppliers for accounts receivable/payable.
• Assist in training new employees.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or the tourism industry.
• Very good command of English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication, time‑management and customer‑focus skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and present a professional appearance.
