University Relations Manager

About the role

The University Relations Manager will build and nurture partnerships with IT faculties at universities, colleges, and private IT schools in Egypt. Working closely with the NIX Learning & Development Center and the HR & Recruiting department, you will help raise educational standards, promote Vertex Technologies within the academic community, and create a pipeline of top talent.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and formalise collaborations with IT educational institutions through memoranda or agreements.
• Identify and engage influential educators as opinion leaders.
• Maintain relationships with university administrative staff.
• Promote Vertex Technologies as a leading employer through workshops, training sessions, hackathons, and other events.
• Collaborate with NIX IT experts to align curricula with current market demands.
• Recruit top students for training programs, internships, and full‑time positions.
• Represent the company at job fairs, career days, meetups, and similar events.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of the IT industry and its talent needs.
• Strong knowledge of Egypt’s higher‑education landscape.
• Existing contacts within universities to accelerate partnership building.
• Experience in an administrative or teaching role at a university, or in a similar university‑relations position.
• Excellent communication skills and English proficiency (B2 or higher).
