Warehouse Accountant – Finance & Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Accountant to join DAF Holding’s finance team in Cairo. The role combines cash handling, inventory accounting and financial reporting to support efficient warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle cash collections and financial transactions in coordination with the Warehouse Manager.
• Record all financial entries related to warehouse activities and align them with the Finance Department.
• Prepare daily cash, inventory and transaction reports with high accuracy.
• Monitor stock balances, ensuring book balances match physical counts together with the Inventory Controller.
• Supervise periodic and annual stock counts, produce discrepancy reports, analyse root causes and follow up on corrective actions.
• Review and verify receiving and issuing documents for compliance with internal policies.
• Generate analytical reports on item movements, stock turnover and slow‑moving items.
• Enhance warehouse financial workflows and uphold internal control standards.
• Coordinate with Procurement on purchase orders and supplier invoices.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse accounting, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong experience in cash handling and financial transactions.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and warehouse control systems.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Odoo.
