Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Responsible for seamless distribution operations to deliver customer service levels with the right quality, quantity, and cost targets in a small single market or distribution centre. The role includes delivering policies, best practices, development plans, budgets and business continuity plans to enable distribution activities.

Key responsibilities

• Own delivery operations within a small single market or distribution centre, planning resources, defining objectives and monitoring performance.
• Produce comprehensive management reporting using information systems and paper‑based tools to deliver detailed performance insights.
• Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety, Health and Environment policies and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements.
• Manage people resources in line with AstraZeneca’s financial policies, regulatory standards and budget expectations.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions that enhance operational outcomes.
• Promote and embed Lean, Digital TPM and safety standards, and drive adoption of digital tools through structured change‑management efforts.
• Lead tier meetings and act as escalation point for critical issues affecting delivery.

Required profile

• Essential education in Pharmaceutical Science.
• Professional knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations, including transportation and issue resolution with Logistics Service Providers.
• 3‑5 years of team‑leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Desirable professional qualification in distribution.
