Welding Engineer

About the role

The Welding Engineer will work full‑time on‑site at MORCOS’s production facilities, supporting the design, fabrication and maintenance of confectionery and bakery production lines and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise welding procedures, selecting appropriate welding methods and materials for industrial equipment.
• Perform and oversee welding inspections, coordinating with production and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare technical documentation, support training of welders and technicians, and implement corrective actions to improve weld quality.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering degree (Mechanical, Materials, Welding) or equivalent technical qualification.
• Hands‑on experience with laser and arc welding for industrial equipment fabrication and repair.
• Knowledge of metallurgy, ability to read technical drawings and welding symbols, and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, continuous improvement and effective communication with cross‑functional teams.
