Works and Enterprise Manager

About the role

The Works and Enterprise Manager leads the enterprise development and employability programmes of Om Habibeh Foundation, including the Continuing Education Centre (CEC). The role ensures that all initiatives align with the foundation’s mission to improve the quality of life for vulnerable communities in Aswan.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategic direction of work and enterprise programmes, creating market‑responsive livelihood and entrepreneurship initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Global Programme Team, Partnerships, and AKDN entities to identify funding opportunities and support proposal development.
• Oversee implementation, operations, budgets, and donor compliance for all work and enterprise projects and social enterprises.
• Coordinate annual work plans, monitor progress, manage risks, and take corrective actions.
• Integrate the CEC to deliver high‑quality, employment‑linked training for youth and women, including apprenticeships and internships.
• Lead, mentor, and develop programme staff, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with OHF policies, donor requirements, safeguarding, health and safety, and gender‑equality standards.
• Maintain monitoring frameworks, conduct field visits, and provide timely reporting on programme, operational, and financial indicators.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading enterprise development or employability programmes within a non‑profit or development context.
• Strong background in programme design, budgeting, donor compliance, and partnership building.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, mentor staff, and coordinate multi‑stakeholder projects.
• Experience integrating training centres or educational programmes with labour‑market outcomes.
• Knowledge of gender equality, inclusion, safeguarding, and environmental considerations in programme delivery.
