Yokogawa CENTUM VP DCS Trainer for Oman Short Course

About the role

ISS International SpA is seeking an experienced trainer to deliver a three‑day classroom course on Yokogawa CENTUM VP Distributed Control Systems (DCS) engineering. The training will be conducted in English in Oman and is targeted at technicians and operators who maintain and operate refining and petrochemical facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver a comprehensive 3‑day curriculum covering DCS architecture, engineering stations, FCS, HIS, Vnet/IP, database configuration and control strategy development.
• Provide hands‑on instruction on graphics creation, alarm management, system testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Prepare training materials, presentations and practical exercises tailored to downstream oil & gas environments.
• Assess participant progress and adapt teaching methods to ensure knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of operation or maintenance experience in the oil & gas industry.
• At least 4 years of experience as a classroom or on‑the‑job trainer.
• Proven expertise with Yokogawa CENTUM VP DCS in refinery, petrochemical or downstream facilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.
