About the role
As an Account Manager at talabat, you will be the primary liaison between our platform and restaurant partners in El Mahalla. You will drive growth, ensure high service standards, and help partners maximise their revenue through our delivery ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant partners, understanding their needs and expectations.
- Ensure menu quality, price parity, and vendor‑funded deals while driving affordability.
- Renew and expand commercial relationships through offers, negotiations, preferred partnerships, and upselling.
- Own the full performance of your portfolio, covering sales, in‑store operations, marketing, and growth strategies.
- Conduct regular in‑person meetings and provide proactive performance reporting.
- Negotiate and acquire restaurants for advertising products to boost their growth.
- Track daily, weekly and monthly targets and collaborate with the team lead to ensure portfolio growth.
- Upsell additional services such as logistics‑as‑a‑service, tPro, and loyalty programmes.
- Promote vendor portal adoption and self‑service tools via the talabat vendor dashboard.
Required profile
- 3–4 years of experience in sales, account management or a related field.
- Strong ownership mindset and dedication to achieving targets.
- Ability to manage a transactional deal cycle and close deals efficiently.
- Creative sales tactics and a proactive approach to prospect engagement.
