AI Software Engineer – Healthcare Data Platform

About the role

NOF1 is looking for an AI Software Engineer to design, build, and optimise the data and AI systems that power its policy intelligence platform for healthcare. You will work at the intersection of data engineering, AI, and healthcare operations, turning complex policy documents into structured, searchable insights that drive faster, data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust pipelines for collecting, normalising, and monitoring healthcare policy data from public and semi‑structured sources.
• Build Playwright‑based crawlers that handle dynamic websites, authentication flows, rate limits, and document changes.
• Create pipelines to extract, deduplicate, version, and enrich policy documents.
• Improve data reliability, observability, and freshness across large‑scale datasets.
• Design AI systems using LLMs, embeddings, clustering, retrieval, and classification to convert unstructured policy text into structured insights.
• Implement summarisation, criteria extraction, and rule structuring workflows with large language models.
• Develop similarity and clustering services to compare payer policies and identify coverage variation.
• Design evaluation pipelines to continuously improve model accuracy and consistency.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in software engineering and AI.
• Experience building data pipelines and AI‑driven analytics for complex domains.
