Analog Circuit Simulation Internship (SSP)

About the role

Join Siemens Digital Industry Software’s CIC Analog Circuit Simulation team in Cairo for a two‑month summer internship. You will work as a QA Engineer, helping to ensure the quality and performance of Siemens EDA’s Analog Circuit simulators within the Solido Simulation Suite.

Key responsibilities

• Define test and quality plans in collaboration with development and marketing teams.
• Design innovative test scenarios based on diverse customer models and simulator use cases.
• Execute tests, analyze results, diagnose issues, and report findings to development teams.
• Analyze customer‑reported problems and create automated accuracy checks for real‑world designs.
• Evaluate new features using analog design languages such as Spice and Verilog‑A.
• Measure test coverage, suggest improvements, and provide feedback on usability and functionality.
• Analyze large‑scale performance data using AI and machine‑learning techniques.

Required profile

• 3rd or 4th year student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with analog circuit design and commercial analog simulators.

Required skills

• Analog circuit design
• Commercial analog simulators (e.g., Spice)
• Verilog‑A description writing (a plus)
• Shell scripting and UNIX knowledge
• Programming experience
• AI, Machine Learning, and Large Language Model concepts
• API testing familiarity
• Software QA methodology, test automation, regression prevention, and test coverage analysis
