Architecture Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Architecture Design Engineer to create detailed architectural designs and schematics for a variety of precast projects. The role involves analysing project requirements, developing architectural systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards while collaborating with engineers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed architectural designs, schematics and layout drawings that meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct spatial analysis, design simulations and performance evaluations to verify functionality, aesthetics and code compliance.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design drawings, specifications and technical reports.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and clients to integrate architectural systems with other building systems and address project requirements.
• Review and approve design modifications, ensuring alignment with project goals and specifications.
• Identify and resolve design issues, perform testing and provide technical solutions during implementation.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices to continuously improve design processes.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of national and local building codes, safety standards and quality assurance procedures.
• Ability to produce accurate and up‑to‑date design documentation.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with clients, engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on delivering innovative and cost‑effective solutions.
